Community Evenings Yogi Hike Night at Auburn State Recreation Area

Every Wednesday throughout the month of June we will be hosting a yogi hike night (OPEN to all genders) at Auburn State Recreation Area. Our trail choices for this weekly event including the famous 49/Training Hill to Cool Loop located right by North fork of American River and Western States Pioneer Trail at the Base of Auburn SRA. Enjoy summer nights with us PEAKFOOTHILLS and your hiking and yoga community! In addition, we will emphasize the importance of graditude and focus on a subject to talk about while enjoying each others company. Our vegan chef and nutrition consultant @christinalynnsteele will have homemade vegan rawnola bites and healthy veggie sticks for donation if your looking for a quick snack! 

JUNE 6, 2018 and JUNE 20, 2018

We will meeting at Training Hill-CA-193 Parking Area. We will be hiking Western States Pioneer Trail (4miles IN AND OUT) along the American River. It will be relatively flat, but have hills and beautiful scenery. 

JUNE 13, 2018 and June 27, 2018

Training Hill is considered Moderate do to the challenging .9 mile climb (1000ft) at the beginning then afterwards it subsides and slowly declines on our way through the loop. You will see several ecosystems and possibly water flowing from the waterfall. 4.5 miles

 

Please remember to bring: Water (it will be hot summer nights), Snacks, Hiking or Trail Running Shoes, Sunscreen, and friends!!
